Building Permits

Building permits, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, signs, certificates of occupancy, and demolition permits are issued by our Building Official Rick Bramall. Call 479-267-3865

City of Farmington uses the State adopted building codes when inspecting commercial and residential construction.  These codes will change when the State adopts the next revision.  The current codes are as follows: 

2021 Arkansas Fire Prevention Code

These are the 2021 International Fire Code, 2021 International Building, and the 2021 International Residential Code with amendments by the State Fire Marshal's office.

Tech Plat Requirements for the Farmington Fire Department

Email Completed Tech Plat Review Sheet along with a electronic copy of plans with hydrants highlighted to williamhellard@cityoffarmington-ar.gov 7 days prior to Tech plat meeting. 

Code Enforcement

Code Enforcement cases can begin in a number of different ways; most commonly a complaint is called into the City Hall by a citizen. Complaints may remain anonymous or they may leave a name and number so they can be contacted in the future. To report and create a work order on unsightly property and/or an inoperable vehicle only, please call Rick Bramall at 479-267-3865
